On August 26th at the summer service at Ashton United Church, the congregation at Ashton and members of Munster United Church worshipping at the joint service witnessed a presentation to Tony Stuart, organist. It was Tony's last Sunday playing the piano.
A presentation of appreciation and thanks was made to Tony during the service. Afterward, everyone gathered to wish Tony well in his new endeavours playing the organ on Sundays at another church. Many expressed how much they appreciated his music over the seven years he was in Ashton on Sundays and how much they would miss him.
The appreciation for Tony and his music over the past years was obvious before entering church.
