Our church members are very active in life inside of and outside of Sunday worship and we celebrate special occasions and events during the church year. We present photographs of some of these events. For events where a larger number of photographs have been taken and it is worth including many of them, the links for the event or occasion will open a new window. Easter 2007 We held a breakfast before our worship service. Everyone was encouraged to wear a hat. It didn't matter whether you were male or female, younger or older, you were encouraged to wear some form of head gear. And people were encouraged to wear it for the breakfast and the service of worship. We enjoyed s splendid breakfast of eggs, pancakes, sausage, hot cross buns, maple syrup, butter, and tea, coffee, and juice. No one left hungry. |
Advent/Christmas 2007 Advernt saw full participation by our youth. The Youth group of the Pastoral Charge took charge of the service and led us in worship on Sunday, December 16th. And they did a fine job. The Sunday School put on a Christmas pageant the following Sunday, 23 December. It involved everybody including, again for this year, a live baby Jesus. He can be seen in the photos - sound asleep through the whole pageant. Congratulations to both groups for giving us such wonderful stories and adding to the season for us. |
