The photos show some of the beauty and variety of our Memorial Garden. You should visit it in person and spend a while there to get a full appreciation for the beauty and special meaning of this place. Flowers, plants, and shrubs have been placed in memory of loved ones.

Our tour starts across the street - looking along the south side of the church.

The west end, closer to the street, features a circle of colour and variety of leaf styles and sizes.

Entrance to the 'circle' is through the arbor. Across the circle is a concrete bench in memory of Isabel Tubman. A pleasant place to site and enjoy a quiet moment, watching birds fly around, the lush green, and the different colours as the spring and summer progresses.

The front portion of the Memorial Garden contains a good selection and variety of flowering plants. The colour and location of flowers changes throughout the srping and summer and into the fall as the plants mature.

An entrance on the south side provides easy access tothe Memorial Garden. The garden extends the full length of the south side of the property.

While not as large as the front part of the Memorial Garden, the back half offers as good a selection of plants and colour. There is also room for expansion when required.

Different times of the day offer different impressions and sights. Here, the morning sun is just starting to enter the yard and grace the back portion of the garden.

Roses grace the front of the garden fence line. They are also in the left front corner of the garden by the stairs to the right entrance to the church.

Iris directly behind the front 'circle'.

Iris to the right of those shown above tell some of the story of subtle variations of colour.
